There are three types of devices which can be used to close all or part of a shelving section, Receding (or "flipper") doors, Hinged door sets and Tambour doors. Each of these can include security locks.
Receding/Flipper Doors: Used to offer closure for a single shelf at a time. Can include a lock and can also include two locks for double access security.
Hinged Door Sets: Traditional swing out hinged doors secure the full height of a shelving section. Can include extenders to allow for side tab file folders. Include a key lock as standard but are available without locks.
Tambour Doors: These "roll-up" doors recede into an overhead enclosure mounted on top of a 4-post shelving section. Allows for full open access (no hinged doors to walk around) during busy work periods and secure closure at the end of the day.
