4-Post uprights are built by connecting two legs to form either a row ending unit or "angle" (L) or connecting tee upright (T). These uprights come in various widths and heights and allow for building rows of connected sections. Double rivet shelf supports (support the shelves) snap into slots in the upright legs. This type of shelving is sometimes used in Library workrooms for general utility purposes. Occasionally it is used as book shelving. It is the lowest cost shelving acceptable for some
library applications.
