There are three basic choices for accumulation of all those things:

1. Clean house. Get rid of that unneeded material. ARMA, the Association of Records Managers & Administrators, is an excellent source for the legal retention schedules which cover files and other documents. www.oregonarma.org.

2. Move unneeded material to off site storage. Prestige Moving & Storage, mlarsen@prestigemoving.com, and Iron Mountain, www.ironmountain.com, are companies that have provided off site storage for many years. A word about costs: usually the "cost per month" is a fairly low "per-unit" expense. However, costs to access stored material can be surprisingly high.
