Spacesaver Specialists began in 1978 when Bob & Beverly Bowlsby took on the then new Spacesaver line of mobile aisle storage equipment. Early Spacesaver product offerings were limited to carriages, rails, decking, etc. only. Shelving had to be sourced separately.
The first Spacesaver electric mobile aisle system was installed in 1979 at the North Bend Medical Center radiology department. It is still in operation today.
Over the years Spacesaver Corporation has expanded their product line to include a wide variety of shelving, rotary and other cabinets, doors and drawers, and other accessories to offer maximum storage efficiency at minimum cost.
While the Spacesaver product line was expanding, Spacesaver Specialists, Inc. was growing into a full service business. We incorporated in Oregon and became licensed General Contractors in Oregon (CCB88704) and Washington (SPACEI110J0). Along the way we added a few, carefully selected, product and accessory lines to provide our clients with cost effective choices for solving storage problems. Since the very beginning we have focused our business interests in solving storage problems.
